Awareness Campaign from the Center for Combating Disinformation

15 Eylül 2026 Salı

As access to information has become easier in the digital age, the speed at which false and misleading information spreads has become a growing threat. To address this issue, the Center for Combating Disinformation has launched a new awareness campaign aimed at strengthening society's resilience against disinformation.

Purpose of the Campaign

The campaign aims to facilitate public access to accurate, verified information, improve media literacy, and raise social awareness. As part of this effort, outdoor advertising visuals prepared in various themes and sizes will be distributed to reach a wide audience.

Center officials note that disinformation is a global issue that threatens not only individuals' right to access accurate information, but also public trust, public order, and national security.

Where Will the Visuals Be Displayed?

The awareness visuals will be displayed across a broad range of venues, including ministries, public institutions and organizations, and municipalities. The visuals will appear in locations such as:

  • Outdoor and indoor digital broadcast screens
  • Bridge pediments and overpasses
  • Bus stops, billboards, and street banners
  • LED screens on streets and squares
  • Screens, panels, and advertising spaces at airports, train stations, High-Speed Train (YHT) stations, metro stations, bus terminals, and transfer hubs

In locations requiring physical printing, the necessary printing work will be completed so the visuals can be displayed in appropriate spaces.

Campaign Timeline

The awareness visuals are scheduled to be published and displayed in relevant venues by September 15, 2026.

Developments related to the campaign and the distribution process of the visuals will continue to be closely monitored.
