Mission

The department's fundamental mission is to train communication professionals who can comprehend visual-auditory culture in its historical, theoretical, and aesthetic dimensions; who act with an awareness of ethical responsibility; and who can produce creative and critical work.

Vision

To create an education and research environment that combines critical thinking, creative production, and academic research in the fields of radio, television, and cinema, and that is respected both nationally and internationally.

In this regard, the department aims to:

  • Develop students' analytical thinking, research, and creative expression skills,
  • Combine theoretical knowledge with applied production within a balanced educational model,
  • Support academic research in the fields of cinema and media,
  • Contribute to public communication culture in line with social responsibility and ethical principles.
