Giresun University’s Tirebolu Faculty of Communication made an important visit aimed at strengthening institutional partnerships.

Our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yağbasan, and the Head of the Radio, Television, and Cinema Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasin Söğüt, visited the Trabzon Regional Directorate of Communication to hold an end-of-term evaluation meeting as part of an external stakeholder agreement.

During the meeting, attended by Regional Director Murat Güler, the existing collaboration between the two institutions was thoroughly discussed. The discussions included exchanging ideas on joint projects for the upcoming period, and new strategies were identified to make students’ internship processes more efficient. Additionally, a general evaluation of the activities carried out throughout the semester was conducted.

During the visit, a meeting hosted by Ali Nuhoğlu, Provincial Director of the Trabzon Press and Advertising Agency, also took place. During this meeting, an agreement was reached to sign an external stakeholder protocol between the two institutions as soon as possible.

In his assessment, our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yağbasan, stated that the contacts made together with our Department Chair of Radio, Television, and Cinema, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasin Söğüt, would make significant contributions to the development of both academic and sectoral collaborations.
