The Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema held an online meeting with our external stakeholders on January 29, 2026, at 8:50 p.m.

The meeting was attended by Murat Güler, Regional Director of the Communications Directorate in Trabzon; Zafer Sel, Regional Director of Anadolu Agency; Director Elif Eda; Director/Producer Suat Köçer; Özcan Özkaya, a reporter for Giresun İleri Newspaper and a graduate of our department; Oğuzhan Kır, owner of VAV Production; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Engin Çağlak from Çanakkale 18 Mart University; Instructors Vahit Özdemir and Alpaslan Öngel from Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, along with our department’s faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasin Söğüt, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Kurtyılmaz, Dr. Lecturer Murat Birol, and Research Assistant Ali Can Demiral.

The meeting focused on our department’s current curriculum and necessary improvements. Additionally, evaluations were conducted regarding internship and employment opportunities for students. The participants’ feedback provided valuable insights that will guide our department’s academic and professional activities.
