Tirebolu Public Prosecutor Erkan Sarı hosted our students, who won the Best Short Film award at this year’s inaugural Trabzon Film Festival Student Short Film Competition, at his office. The visit was also attended by our Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yağbasan, and the Coordinator of Scientific and Social Activities and Publications, Dr. Elif Çanğa Bayer.

The film “Gülümse,” directed by third-year Radio, Television, and Cinema Department student Yasin Kurt and supervised by Dr. Zafer Akar, drew attention with this achievement at the festival. Prosecutor Erkan Sarı congratulated our students and the faculty, emphasizing that this success is a source of pride for Tirebolu as well.
